Polymer molecules developed by CAN consisting of two different polymer chains (block copolymers) can spontaneously form small capsules (vesicles), in the process encapsulating pharmaceutical active ingredients. Soon we will be able to customize the stability of these capsules using CAN nanotechnology and adapt it to the requirements for a targeted delivery of active ingredients. Additionally, these capsules will be equipped with biological ligands and nanoparticles, which should enable them to release their contents in the body exactly when and where it is needed.
