Plastics

CAN nanotechnology can be used to embed nanoparticles in plastics, thereby improving their properties. These nanocomposites have significantly better mechanical, thermal and optical properties than conventional polymers: Simple plastics become highly innovative, powerful materials. For example, embedded carbon nanotubules not only increase the strength, rigidity and break resistance of plastics but even in tiny amounts also make them electroconductive. Car electronics is just one of the many areas of application for such plastics that conduct electricity without themselves becoming charged. CAN nanotechnology is also used to optimize the distribution of particles in plastic in order to achieve a maximum performance increase with a minimum of additives.
